Helping refugees from Afghanistan since 2021
OpAllies
Since the evacuation of Kabul in 2021, we have been working closely with evacuees who arrived in the UK during the emergency evacuation.
Through our work with local councils, government offices and other relationships we have built throughout the UK, we have actively supported the resettlement of many hundreds of Afghan families.
A sense of duty and public service is at the heart of Bridge to Unity’s ethos. From our Directors to our volunteers, our roots were established during Op Pitting and have influenced the work since the evacuation of Afghanistan in 2021.
Whether an individual or family needs help finding accommodation, settling
into a new community or
just needs someone to be a listening ear, our team of committed volunteers are here to help.
As an organisation, we understand through our first-hand experiences the sacrifices our those evacuated from Afghanistan made for British Forces, often at a risk to themselves. It is this, alongside our organisation's foundation of public service, that inspired us to ensure we work every day to ensure the happy and safe resettlement of our Afghan friends.
